Polena has travelled and lived in many European and Asian countries and has a very good understanding of cultural differences and how people learn. She encourages language and cultural association, and intercultural communication makes up a good part of her teaching. Through her work in the Arts, her understanding of self-expression is very developed and she encourages her students to be vocally assertive and provides the necessary language in order to do so. From beginners to advanced students her learning material is adjusted to create personalized language building blocks. In addition she has recently completed a Teach English Online with Cambridge Assessment English.
